After a remarkable 2026 edition, Map Day returns on Wednesday 3 February 2027.
The goal: more than 1,000 events across France and around the world, to reveal and celebrate the democratic power of maps.
Priorities, resources, a step-by-step guide, the calendar - everything you need to come on board is waiting for you.

Rethinking the map as a democratic tool, so that everyone can take hold of it, see the world differently and help decide the future of the places we live in: that is what we are building through La République des Cartes, around four main levers.
IGN, Banque des Territoires, OVH Cloud and many others
