A collaborative game where you imagine and manage a changing territory together
Created by Ubisoft for La République des Cartes, this board game invites players to make collective decisions about how a constantly changing territory is shaped. Note: the game is a prototype, still evolving regularly.
A look at some of the game's cards
2 to 5 players
1h à 1h30
(A short 20-minute version is possible)
Facilitator training: allow 30 to 45 min
To print and cut out at home or at the office, to build a map as a team
A large sheet of paper, pencils, felt-tips or highlighters, and scissors
The group founds its world together by drawing 4 “Foundation” cards. Each is read aloud, discussed together, and one player draws the outcome on the map.
In turn, each player draws an “Event” or “Question” card. Events create unexpected situations to resolve by drawing. Questions open a moment of exchange where everyone shares their view.
The group takes in the world it has built, then draws a “Vote” card to share how it feels about that world and the one around us. Play again as often as you like!
